Originally incorporated on October 20, 1997 by Kenneth W. Couch and Kathie Couch in Ohio as Couch Equipment Sales, LLC, the original focus of the Company was re-sale of used Metallographic equipment. In 2002, the company name was changed to Couch Sales, LLC to reflect expanded sales and services to industry. Today, the primary business includes the sale of specialty adhesives primarily used in the Coating Industry.

ABOUT US

Couch Sales distributes specialty adhesives used in the coatings industry. These adhesives are primarily used for testing the strength of metallic and ceramic coatings used in the aerospace, medical implant, and other industries where the bond strength of the coatings is crucial.

Couch Sales is the lowest cost distributor of adhesive wafers globally in less than full roll quantities. The material supplied by Couch Sales, LLC is 0.06 pound per square foot and is approximately 0.010 inches thick. Our adhesives are available in two forms, either in sheet form as provided by the manufacturer or in pre-cut one-inch diameter wafer form. We have a minimum order quantity of five square feet. One five square foot sheet is 20 inches long by 36 inches wide. In the pre-cut wafer form, five square feet will yield approximately 575 – 580 wafers. One copy of the Manufacturer Certification and Material Safety Data Sheet accompanies each shipped order. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

THE COUCH DIFFERENCE

All Adhesive shipped from Couch Sales, LLC comes from the most recent batch produced from the individual manufacturer. As a courtesy to our customers, we test every lot of incoming adhesive to ASTM C633-01 (2017) prior to shipment. However, these are the procedural tests for bond strength of coatings and not part of the material specifications. Samples tested from all lots exceed 10,000-psi bond strength prior to shipment using our standard test conditions and equipment. Again, these are procedural tests and results can vary depending on the conditions at each facility. NO ADHESIVE RETURNS ARE ACCEPTED UNLESS DEFECTIVE.
